  • What does that guarantee mean?
    1. You will get the tickets you ordered (or better) and you will receive them in time for your event.

Venue Kings will work to correct the issue, including trying to find replacement tickets for you. If Venue Kings cannot locate replacement tickets, upon confirmation that the tickets were invalid for entry, Venue Kings will provide you with a refund for the cost of the tickets, including service fees, shipping and handling charges.
  • Why not buy from a ticket scalper, auction site, or classified site?

    Buying tickets second hand is a risk, respected brokers like Venue Kings will have a guarantee to minimize that risk to the buyer. We get our tickets from venues, respected brokers, and trusted clients to minimize the likelihood of invalid tickets. When opting for the cheapest tickets or un trusted providers you put yourself at risk of buying fake or duplicate tickets and if that happens you have no option for recourse. If there are any issues call us from the venue and we will work to rectify the issue, including trying to find replacement tickets for you.

  • Is my information safe when I buy tickets on VenueKings.com?

    Yes. At Venue Kings our top priority is to ensure that all of our customers' personal information is kept safe and secure. We do not pass on your information to third parties but rather use it for internal processing to fulfill orders. Before purchasing online always look in the address box for the “s” in https:// and for the “lock” symbol before paying.   • Can I change my account email address?

    Yes you can. Just log into your account, click account at the top, then you will see Edit Profile on the left, click on it and you will be able to edit your email.

  • Where does VenueKings obtain its tickets for sale?

    Venue Kings, unlike most of its competitors operates in both the primary and secondary ticket markets. We get our tickets directly from teams through partnership agreements, other professional brokers, and trusted users among others. The ticket industry is competitive and constantly updating based on availability and demand. Venue Kings is always watching the market and will change prices and strategies to stay competitive.

  • When is the latest I can purchase tickets for an event on VenueKings.com?

    We recommend buying tickets as early as possible for an event you really want to see. However, as a general rule our tickets will be taken down at the start of the game, concert, special event, etc. If you can see the tickets on our website you can buy them.

  • Can I bring camera/food/drink/etc to the event?

    Each venue has their own policies, please see your venue for more details.

  • Does my child need a ticket to gain entry into an event?

    Each venue has their own policies regarding what age or height requires a ticket, please see your venue for more details.

  • Why can’t I add more than one set of tickets to my shopping cart?

    The various ticket listings on our website can have a number of possible reasons why they cannot be purchased in one order. We have tickets for events all over North America as well as other select markets as we expand. These tickets can be charged in a number of different currencies with corresponding tax amounts included. Most of our tickets are emailable, however, some events require hard copy tickets so shipping charges would be different.   • Is VenueKings legitimate and reliable?

    As a respected broker in the primary and secondary marketplace, we take pride in providing you with the industry’s best prices, extensive selection, and 100% Buyer Guarantee. We have been in business since 2009 and have fulfilled millions of orders for customers. We have extended business hours to make sure we are available before events in case any problems arise.   • Can the venue scan my tickets off my phone?

    Most venues have started scanning tickets, but we recommended printing the tickets just in case, or checking with the venue before attending.

  • Will my purchase be charged in Canadian dollars if it is a Canadian event?

    All Canadian events will be listed in Canadian dollars and charge the corresponding tax, and all American events will be listed in US dollars and charged the corresponding tax.

  • Will my purchase be charged in Canadian Dollars if I am from Canada?

    The Canadian events will be listed in Canadian dollars and therefore you will be charged Canadian dollars and the corresponding tax. If you are purchasing an American event you will be charged in US dollars and the corresponding tax.

  • Cancellation Policy

  • Can I cancel my order for any reason after I place an order?

    All sales are final, there are no refunds or exchanges. If you have any more questions please check out our Terms of Service located at the bottom of the page.

  • Will I get a refund if my event is rescheduled, rained out, or postponed?

    No, our Terms of Service states that All Sales are Final. If an event is postponed or rescheduled, the tickets will be honored for the rescheduled event date. New tickets will not need to be issued for most rescheduled events or postponements. In the case that new tickets are required it is the customer’s responsibility to contact Venue Kings.

  • If an event is canceled and not rescheduled for a different date, will I receive a refund?

    Yes. If an event is cancelled for any reason other than an act of God (rainout, earthquake, flood, etc.), war, terrorism, strike, or lockout, we will provide a full refund for the amount that you paid for the tickets. Shipping charges are not refundable. In case of a rainout or strike for a sporting event, no refunds will be made. We will attempt to contact you with further instructions in these instances. If you have not heard from us within 48 hours of the announcement, please CONTACT US.

  • Can I return my tickets or exchange them for an event on a different date?

    No. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on any request once it is submitted to us. This policy is in place because when you place your ticket request, we attempt to secure and acquire those tickets for you from a ticket supplier and are not able to recover our costs. Please order tickets only after you are certain you want them.

  • Seat & Ticket Information

  • Why doesn’t VenueKings.com display seat numbers?

    Venue Kings lists tickets from our own inventory as well as from other sellers on our website. Therefore we do not always know seat numbers. In addition sellers may decide not to disclose exact seat locations because they are linked to the seller's identity. To list seat numbers would also reduce the number of available tickets for our customers to purchase.

  • Are the seats that I am buying together/side-by-side?

    Yes, at Venue Kings we guarantee the tickets you purchase will be seated together when they are purchased together. We recommend calling us if you would like to add tickets to a previous order and we will do our best to make that happen. It is also important to note that some tickets may not appear to be together when in fact they are. For example, some venue’s (especially theaters) will label their seats in odd or even numbered seating depending on the side of the venue your tickets are for.   • Why am I unable to order certain quantity of tickets even though there are more seats available than I need?

    When we list our tickets often we select quantities that can be selected so we are not left with a single ticket. We try to sell even sets of tickets whenever possible. That could be 2,4,6,8 in an 8 pack of tickets, or 1,3,5,7 in a seven pack of tickets. If you cannot select the number of tickets you desire on our website please do not hesitate to contact us at 1.800.625.KING (5464).

  • Why are there codes by some sections such as: club, reserve, lodge, etc?

    Each venue has different names for sections of seating. At Venue Kings, we work hard to give our customers a good idea of the general location of each ticket and any additional information pertaining to the ticket (limited view, Wheelchair Accessible, etc). If our seating charts do not offer a clear description of your venue please contact us directly at 1.800.625.KING (5464).

  • What if my tickets are lost or stolen?

    When you receive your tickets keep them in a safe place. Unfortunately, Venue Kings cannot guarantee that tickets can be replaced if they are lost, stolen, or damaged. In some instances tickets can be reprinted, and Venue Kings will do its best to replace your tickets, but it is not always possible and cannot be guaranteed. Please also note that direct sunlight and heat can damage some tickets.

  • What are e-mailed tickets?

    Email tickets are the new alternatives to traditional, hard-stock paper tickets. These tickets are valid and are generally emailed in PDF format. They contain the bar code that the venue attendant will use to scan for admittance into the venue. Some venue’s can scan the barcode off your mobile device and others need the tickets printed off. To be safe we recommend printing off the tickets or contacting your venue directly. The file will we included as an attachment in your email and can be viewed through Adobe Reader (which you can download for free here) and printed. Please note that the name appearing on the PDF is of the original purchaser. Nonetheless, the tickets are completely transferrable and the attendee's name does not need to match the name on the ticket. All tickets sold on VenueKings.com are backed by our 100% Buyer Guarantee. If an order is made within 48 hours of an event, and the listing is marked with the "E-delivery" icon, then the tickets are available for electronic delivery.

  • What does “Instant Download” mean?

    Tickets designated as "Instant Download" will be available as electronic tickets typically within a few minutes after your order is confirmed. Some orders may require additional verification that will be initiated immediately upon receiving your order. When your order is confirmed, you will receive an email with download instructions for your tickets. These tickets are valid and 100% legitimate, and generally come in PDF format and contain the bar code that the venue attendant will use to scan for admittance into the venue. The file can be viewed through Adobe Reader (which you can download for free here) and conveniently printed. Please note that the name appearing on the PDF is of the original purchaser. Nonetheless, the tickets are completely transferable and the attendee's name does not need to match the name on the ticket. Rest assured that all tickets sold on VenueKings.com are from reputable and pre-screened sellers who do not provide us with duplicate or invalid tickets.   • What are “Paperless tickets”/how will I receive tickets that say “Paperless” in the notes?

    Paperless ticketing is an alternative ticket delivery method, much like will call. Admission to events that utilize Paperless ticketing involves the original purchaser's credit card to be swiped by the venue attendant to gain entry into the event. Prior to the event, Venue Kings will coordinate the meeting between one of our representatives and you the customer. Our representative will then give the venue attendant the credit card originally used to make the purchase to allow you  to gain entry into the event.

  • The name on the E-mailed ticket is different from mine-is this ticket still valid?

    Yes, the name on the ticket does not matter, the tickets will still be valid. All E-Tickets are completely transferable and the name on the ticket is simply the original purchaser or the season ticket holder. All Venue Kings tickets are backed by our 100% buyer guarantee.

  • What if I order tickets from Venuekings.com and I receive different tickets? Was there a mistake?

    Tickets received are guaranteed to be identical, comparable, or better than the tickets specified in the order. The determination of what constitutes a comparable or upgraded ticket is at the sole discretion of Venue Kings. If we need to change or upgrade your tickets we will call you to approve the change/upgrade. We work hard to ensure our customers receive the best customer service, but sometimes the wrong tickets are sent.   • Pricing

  • How are ticket prices determined on VenueKings.com? Why is the price I paid higher/lower than the price indicated on my tickets?

    The ticket industry is competitive and prices are constantly updating based on availability and demand. Venue Kings is always watching the market and will change prices and strategies to stay competitive and move tickets. We price our tickets based on market value and not the original printed value. For this reason, the price indicated on the ticket can be lower or sometimes higher than what customers paid.

  • Why are the same tickets available for sale on VenueKings.com at different prices?

    All Venue Kings tickets are priced by Venue Kings staff whereas tickets listed by other sellers will be priced by them and therefore will usually be a little higher.

  • Does VenueKings.com charge a service fee and how is it determined?

    Yes, the service fee covers our operating costs and enables us to include things like premium customer service that includes extended business hours, technology upgrades and maintenance, and inventory to sold out events. The service fee is charged as percentage based on subtotal costs and can be updated with changing costs of operations.

  • I have received a confirmation email. Has my credit card been charged?

    No. Your confirmation email is sent when we receive a request for an order. Once we confirm and accept your order that is when we will charge your card and a second email will be sent. Venue Kings  will reserve the funds on your credit card account when your order is placed, however the funds are not captured until after the order is confirmed by the respective seller. Once the order is confirmed your order is covered by our 100% Buyer Guarantee.

  • Will the prices of the tickets decrease as the event approaches?

    At Venue Kings we price our tickets based on market value, so there is no way to predict if the prices will be higher or lower than what they are currently listed at, or if we will still have inventory. We recommend buying tickets as early as possible to ensure attendance, regardless of market fluctuations.

  • Is it possible to split an order between multiple forms of payment?

    No. Every order must be placed with a single debit or credit card, or by using PayPal.

  • Do I have to pay any taxes when ordering through VenueKings.com?

    Yes, certain events that occur where tax applies are subject to a tax, for example events in Canada. For events which incurs a tax, the amount will be calculated and included in the itemization of charges on VenueKings.com which appears on the checkout screen.

  • Why am I being charged tax after I’ve completed my order?

    For Canadian events customers that purchase Venue Kings tickets through TicketNetwork will be charged tax after their original purchase.  

    TicketNetwork Tax website states that: “Taxes on tickets actually vary substantially from state-to-state and even between localities in various states - an ever-changing situation. This means that local and/or state taxes are not calculated on our checkout page during the purchase process. (Ticketing taxes are based on the location of the ticket seller supplying an order and most prevalent in Texas, Chicago, California, Michigan and Canada.)”

  • Why am I being charged shipping when my tickets are being emailed?

    We have a standard email ticket fee of $7.99. Any hard copy tickets that need to be shipped/mailed will have a higher fee.

  • Delivery

  • Who does VenueKings.com use for shipping?

    Our preferred method of shipping is to email tickets, this allows us to send tickets out to last minute buyer's, use less paper, and is easy to track. If we need to use a courier to ship tickets we use FedEx or UPS for all our shipping needs. All tickets sent via secured courier require a signature upon delivery.

    Tickets for events that are bought in advance may have delivery delays and therefore may not have been printed or released by the box office yet. In these cases, the shipping date is entirely dependent on when the "in hand" date is.

  • Can I ship my tickets to a P.O. Box?

    No. Venue Kings uses FedEx and UPS  for all deliveries and because they require signatures for all shipped tickets they will not deliver to PO Boxes.

  • I just placed an order with VenueKings.com and selected a Curior for Delivery, when should I expect delivery of my tickets?

    In most cases, tickets will ship on the day that the order is confirmed. It is important to note that FedEx delivery options are based on the date the tickets are ready to ship, rather than the day they are purchased. Certain tickets may not be "in hand.” This is often the case with season tickets or fan club tickets, as they have not yet been printed by the team or box office. Tickets are 100% Guaranteed to be delivered before the event. Once the tickets are ready for shipment, we will send an Email that includes a FedEx tracking number. This allows customers to track tickets every step of the way.   • Why haven't I received my tickets yet? What is a delivery delay?

    We try to send out all our tickets within 24hrs of an order being placed whenever possible. Some ticket providers have delivery delays and therefore we cannot ship tickets until the team releases them. A Delivery delay occurs when certain ticket providers such as teams, venues, and primary ticket sellers withhold tickets until closer to the event.   • My FedEx shipment contained printed E-tickets; why were they shipped via FedEx rather than emailed?

    We always encourage sellers and other brokers  to designate E-tickets within their corresponding listings and allow for an emailable shipping option. However, some sellers might not provide that information and prefer to ship printed E-tickets instead. When ticket listings are in fact designated as E-tickets at time of sale, we will deliver those E-tickets electronically. Rest assured, printed E-tickets are valid for entry and are fully covered by our 100% Buyer Guarantee.

  • What if I have missed my FedEx delivery?

    FedEx will make three delivery attempts on consecutive business days. Venue Kings requires an adult signature for all ticket shipments and FedEx will not release the package until it is signed for. If the customer or an adult over the age 21 is unable to sign for the package at the delivery address, please call 1-800-GO-FEDEX (1-800-463-3339) and provide the FedEx Tracking number to arrange pickup at a local FedEx Office. A valid photo ID of the recipient is required, as well as the tracking number used to ship the package. If no one is available to sign for the tickets, FedEx will return the tickets to Venue Kings. An additional shipping charge will be applied if the tickets require reshipment.

  • How can I track delivery of my tickets?

    After we ship tickets via courier we email the tracking number to customers so they can track their tickets. If you do not receive a tracking number you can contact us at 1-800-625-KING (5464) or at orders@venuekings.com

  • Why is an adult signature required upon delivery?

    We treat tickets like cash. For this reason, we take every precaution to ensure that they are delivered to the intended recipient.

  • I lost the email to download my tickets. How can I have another email sent?

    If you contact Venue Kings we can send you another email. All we need to know is your name and order number. You can contact us at 1-800-625-KING (5464) or email us at orders@venuekings.com

  • I would like to attend an event that is within 24 hours-how will I receive my tickets?

    Tickets that are up on our website within 24-hours of an event are all emailable. We have staff working extended hours that will email them to you as soon as possible.

  • I ordered tickets with Email Delivery, where are my tickets?

    Once you place your order for e-tickets we will process your order as quickly as we can, usually we try to process orders within 24/hrs. At that time if we have the tickets we will email them over to you. Some teams put delivery delays on all their tickets and no one has access to these tickets until the team releases them closer to the game. In this case we cannot send out tickets until we have received and processed them. Rest assured we will send tickets in time for your event!

  • I do not have a printer how do I print my E-Tickets?

    If you do not have a printer you can ask a friend or family member if they can print your tickets for you, or you can print them at work, or print them at your local library, Kinkos, or any office supply store such as Staples or Officemax. To use these options you may not have access to your email and may need to download and save your PDF ticket files to a flash drive. Your tickets do not have to be printed in colour to be valid.

  • I’m having trouble downloading and printing my tickets. How do I retrieve them?

    To print your tickets, make sure you download the PDF file to your desktop. Then open the file and select “Print” from the Adobe Reader “File” menu. If you cannot download the tickets you might have to temporarily disable your pop up blockers and/or enable Cookies, Javascript, and Adobe Plugins. If you cannot open the file once you have it downloaded check to see if you have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed on your computer. If not you can download it for free here.
